The rules to know
- The money goes into a blocked account (Sperrkonto) before you apply for the visa.
- Once you are in Germany, you can withdraw up to the monthly amount.
- An increase is expected in 2027. No new figure has been published yet, so treat any 2027 number you see online with caution.
